October 2014. Hi. I have an Acer Iconia W510 with keyboard dock. This unit has recently been to Acer service due to over heating issues casuing the unit to turn off after a few minutes usage. This issue seems now to have been solved, but instead I have encountered another issue. Now the tablet isn't working without the keyboard dock.
1- make a windows 8.1 bootable usb and in bios keep boot from usb as primary option (enter to bios by pressing both power and volume down key together while switching on the device untill bios is shown). download acer driver v2.12 into another usb.
